RSI > 50 highlights coins whose 14-period Relative Strength Index sits above the midline. The 50 level is the dividing line of the RSI: above it, average gains outweigh average losses over the lookback, so momentum leans bullish.
Rather than waiting for the classic overbought reading at 70, the midline cross is an earlier, more forgiving momentum filter — useful for confirming that a trend has the wind at its back without demanding an extreme. It pairs naturally with trend signals: an uptrend holding RSI above 50 is healthier than one slipping back below it.
