About the RSI < 50 signal
RSI < 50 highlights coins whose 14-period Relative Strength Index sits below the midline. The 50 level divides the RSI: below it, average losses outweigh average gains over the lookback, so momentum leans bearish.
Instead of waiting for the oversold reading at 30, the midline cross is an earlier momentum filter that confirms a trend is losing its footing. It pairs well with bearish trend signals: a downtrend that keeps RSI pinned below 50 is more decisive than one that keeps popping back above it.
