About the MACD Bullish signal
MACD Bullish fires when the MACD line — the difference between the 12 and 26-period exponential moving averages — is above zero. A positive MACD means the fast EMA is above the slow one, confirming that momentum has shifted to the upside.
The zero line is a cleaner, less twitchy filter than the MACD signal-line crossover: staying above zero shows the broader momentum backdrop is constructive. It tends to confirm moves slightly after they begin, so it is most useful for validating a trend rather than catching the exact turn. Orion evaluates it with the standard 12/26/9 settings across all five timeframes.
